Banksy Bar & Kitchen is a modern cafe and cocktail bar in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, QLD offering dine in and takeaway food and drink options. There is seating for 60-80 customers. Our focus is giving customers a comfortable and welcoming experience where ever detail has been considered for their comfort and enjoyment. Our coffee beans are certified organic, roasted by Quest Coffee Roasters, offered for purchase and used for coffee service. We are looking for an experienced Cafe / Restaurant Manager for 40hrs+ / week to manage the venue, deliver on the Banksy vision, and grow the customer base. Casual full time hours with option to switch to full time after 3 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver on an established vision whilst creating a unique and wonderful cafe / restaurant experience.
- Grow the recurring customer base and a high Google rating from their experience
- Ensure happiness and effectiveness of cafe team, including training team members effectively.
- Maintaining and enforcing high quality standards across restaurant operations in food, drink, and cleanliness.
- Running shifts and designing / implementing new processes.
- Inventory, vendor, and supply management.
- Ensuring a profitable restaurant menu.
- Uplifting the cafe experience for customers.
- Customer service, food handling, and barista service.
ABOUT YOU
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 2 or more years of recent experience as a cafe or restaurant manager
- 2 or more years experience as a barista
- Food handling experience
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- A strong understanding of health and safety
- Any eye for detail
NICE TO HAVE
- Certification in Hospitality or related industry.
- Marketing or photography experience.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Australian citizen or resident with an appropriate visa to work in Australia. Note: This role is not suitable for Working Holiday VISA holders.
- Availability to work at least 1 weekend day
- Availability to work shifts from 5am to 4pm
- Loves coffee and tea
- Own transport to and from work
